At Angel House B&B you can enjoy the charm of yesterday with the comforts of today. Located in Creemore, selected by Harrowsmith as "one of the ten prettiest towns in Canada", Angel House is a warm country retreat where you can take time away from your busy schedule and unwind. Relax in the garden, curl up on a sofa in the guest parlour with a good book or take a short stroll to the quaint village shops of Creemore. Within walking distance you will find unique shops and art studios like the Mad & Noisy Gallery as well as North America's Smallest Jail.
Creemore is also the home of the Creemore Springs micro-brewery. Take a tour of the micro-brewery then try any of the wonderful casual and find dining restaurants located in the lovely old-world 'downtown' of Creemore.
Less than 30 minutes away you will find the sandy beaches of Georgian Bay for swimming and boating. Take a lunch and walk or hike the picturesque trails through the Purple Hills or along the Bruce or Ganaraska Trails. A few minutes drive away and you can walk along with extensive hiking trails on the Niagara Escarpment. Angel House is also close to numerous golf courses of different types. During the winter downhill and cross country ski facilities are nearby where you can spend a day or just a few hours outside. Snowmobiling trails are also a great treat that many of our guests enjoy. The Scenic Caves in Blue Mountain are about 30 minutes from Angel House but worth the drive every season of the year.
Angel House was built in the 1890's and, while remodeled many times, retains the tranquil atmosphere, the spirit and simple pleasure of it's early colonial roots. There are four Canadiana-themed rooms with eurotop twin, double, queen or king beds. There are private, shared and ensuite bathrooms. Angel House offers a range of breakfast services that include full, continental, vegetarian and gluten free options. Our breakfast feature homemade preserves and baking will be arranged as you like it!
At Angel House we also provide our guests with Internet cafe and wireless connectivity, bicycles, snowshoes and cross country skis. Our library is little but extensive and includes a range of board games the whole family can play. Angel House may be in one of the country's most secret hideaway but it has full cable TV, DVD and VCR access so you can watch what you want while you are here.
The feature most of our guests appreciate about Angel House is the warm welcome they receive when they arrive at our door. We are Kate, Darryl and Pat and we welcome our single guests as warmly as families and small groups into our smoke-free home.
